AWS (Advanced Wind-reel Systems) is an attachment for agricultural combines designed to improve the efficiency and productivity operation of direct cut harvesting in dry beans, soybeans, peas, lentils, cereal grains and other specialty crops.

The AWS system applies a continuous flow of high velocity air to the crop as it is cut, providing an even feed of material into the combine with less crop damage. Consistent feeding allows operation of the combine at full capacity with increased ground speed, better separation and more even residue distribution. The curtain of air sweeps the crop from the knife, reducing shatter loss, enhancing knife performance and greatly increasing yield potential.

The AWS manifold system locates the nozzles between the reel fingers and is available in all-crop or crop-specific designs. AWS mounts allow manifold height to be adjusted independent of the finger reel for a variety of crops. The simple, removable out front AWS manifold and bolt on drive systems install on all makes with little or no modification to the header. An AWS wind reel system can be economically transferred to other heads, leaving header in original condition. Simple AWS belt drive chassis is completely self-contained and is shipped ready to install, provides long-term reliability and ease of maintenance.

Amongst our AWS exclusives are our proven combine mounted blower systems for all John Deere 9000, 10, 50, 60, S.T.S., CaseIH 16, 21, 2300 and New Holland CR series machines. The quiet, efficient AWS fan is mounted to the right hand side of the combine cab. The simple belt drive chassis is driven off the separator, features sealed bearings and torsion spring belt tightners for ease of operation and increased reliability.
