Case IH Header Mount

AWS header mount systems are available for all IH 820, CIH 1020, and CIH 2020 series heads. Mounted on the right hand side on 820 and 1020 single drive heads, a P.T.O. and short stub shaft are supplied with the system to drive the fan. On 1020 dual drive heads the ready to install AWS fan mounts on the back of the head on the left hand side and is driven off the header drive shaft. On CIH 2020 heads the fan is mounted on the right hand side and is driven off the existing header drive shaft. Simple AWS belt drive chassis with adjustable, spring-loaded tensioners provides long-term reliability and ease of maintenance. The quiet, efficient AWS fan is protected by a stationary or optional rotary inlet screen.

Our universal AWS fan is complemented with a CaseIH mounting kit. The mounting kit contains components specifically designed to work with CaseIH heads ensuring the effectiveness of not only the AWS system but the head as well. All components are powder painted and bolt on, installing with little or no modification to the header.

The simple, light-weight removable out front AWS manifold is supported at each end of the header with AWS mounting brackets that bolt on to the reels existing mounting arms. This truly unique concept allows the manifold to be adjusted independent of the reel for a variety of crops. Once the manifold is set in position, relative to the reel position it then moves as one complete unit with the reel. This gives the operator greater control as to the location of the air. Direction of airflow is controlled from the cab with an electric actuator mounted at the end of the manifold.

Functionality and attention to detail of the AWS system is second to none. With the AWS system installed on the head, overall header width is un-affected allowing individuals to do headlands and pass through doorways with ease. The system itself is highly versatile when trading heads the AWS system simply un-bolts and installs onto the new head. If switching brands is considered, customer's can simply purchase the appropriate manufacturers completing package to correctly install the system on their new head.
