In 1998 AWS set a new industry standard with the first ever combine mounted air reel fan. Driving the fan directly off the combine’s primary countershaft is the most efficient way of powering the fan. This eliminates the power being transferred through the feeder house belt, through the reverser gear case onto the header drive.

AWS combine mount fans are available for all John Deere 9000/10/50/60 Walker and STS machines. A lightweight balanced aluminum drive sheave bolts onto the end of the primary countershaft with a single belt running the fan that is secured to the platform on the right-hand side of the combine.

AWS combine mount fans are also available for all CaseIH 14/16/21/23/2500 &50/60/7088 series machines. Powering the fan is achieved by attaching an aluminum drive sheave to the end of the secondary gearbox with a belt running through to the fan bolted to the combine on the right-hand platform.

AWS combine mount fans for New Holland CR model combines feature a unique steel pulley that is matched to the design of the combine. Like all AWS combine mount fans it engages with the separator drive with a belt running the fan that is mounted on the right-hand platform of the combine.

The unique mounting location leaves an un-obstructed view of the header from the operators seat. The quiet, efficient AWS fan features a durable baked on finish and is protected by a rotary inlet screen. A rugged shield in turn protects the inlet screen from any debris thrown by the drive tires.
