All AWS header mount fan kits feature our simple universal belt drive fan. Belts provide a simple efficient way of transferring power compared to other methods. Typical installation involves mounting a channel on the rear of the head that the fan bolts to and then running a short drive shaft with a power shaft to hook up to the right-hand side of the feeder house.

The design of some manufacturers heads allows us to use existing header drivelines that are already in place. The rear shaft is simply removed and has a keyway milled in it for the AWS drive pulley.

By positioning the fan upright this prevents the build up of foreign material on the fan housing and being drawn into the fan as a result impellor life is greatly improved. Smooth air supply to the out front AWS manifold is achieved while maintaining machine width and protecting flexhose from fencerow damage.

Completing kits tailored to each manufacturers head ensures ease of installation and the ability to transfer the AWS system from one head to another.
